Overview
The modules offered are drawn from the part-time evening degree programmes in Community Studies and in Local Studies. A module is a block of learning in which a particular topic is taught and assessed. 5 credit modules require 24 hours of class contact and 48 hours of self directed learning.
Students may take single modules from one of these programmes. If they complete 4 modules (20 Credits), they will be awarded an Maynooth University Certificate (Level 7) in either Culture and Society (Community Studies programme) OR People Place and Heritage (Local Studies programme).

Duration: 100 hours part-time over one year.
